We were at the zoo on Deepavali and it was super packed. Was a bad day for pictures cos the sky was overwhelmed with heavy clouds it had been holding on to for two days. In the mid-afternoon, it couldn't take it anymore and the sky turned ominously dark.
We were surrounded by trees on all sides, with only a small piece of the sky visible through the tree tops. Big drops of rain started hitting us and we were going to be caught in a thunderstorm any minute then. We were standing in front of an open enclosure but there were no animals in it. That was when I blurted out the remark, because it did kind of feel like all the moments in Jurassic Park merged together in one instant.
I probably should have known better than to be so trigger happy on such a bad-weather day. But it was a fun excursion.
