Quick GG debrief

GG hasn't gotten me excited for a while now. I like episode 19.

Plus, Blair looked stunning in the Herve Leger dress. Not the best picture but if you've watched the scene where she leaned against Chuck to seduce him, you'd have seen how amazing the dress was on her.

GG messes with The Age of Innocence

GG ruins The Age of Innocence for me. From now on, every time I say I love the book I will have to think of Vanessa.

Bloody hell.

But I'm glad the show is back, and I love what Blair wore.

GG Gripe

I am 4 minutes and 21 seconds into the latest episode of Gossip Girl and I need to pause and bitch, and so I have.

Can that teacher (Rachel) be any more pathetic? Squealing on Blair? Nursing a crush on Dan Humphrey and gushing over his "great" reference to Cordelia in one of his stories?? Saying to Mr Brooklyn that she can totally relate to the sense of isolation in his story and exchanging quips about how spoilt the students are and being so secretly smug and smiling about the fact that they both belong in the "real" world where people take the subway and open their own doors and have nothing on their schedules.

Punching Serena in the shoulder??? That almost makes Mr Brooklyn the bigger loser. Almost.

Just how much more irritating can he be? Can she be? Man.

Had so much fun reading New York Mag online in the office today. Specifically, reading about Gossip Girl. Because you know you can't get enough of it.

Just on the latest episode (which was gut-wrenching in both aww and urgh! ways), you can find snippets like this:

"Only in a relationship as awesome and bizarre as Blair and Chuck's would having sex with twins be a call for help and not something that you get all angry and jealous about. Blair knows that Chuck is a man-slut and this doesn't change or effect her love for him." — HKRAVITZ [This is oddly touching! And there's something very wrong with that.]

I still have a tonne of photos, including three unfinished rolls still in their cameras. But I'm rather tired from uploading them (after putting up 410 onto Facebook yesterday) so shall take a break.

Going back to real life for a bit and ignoring how I keep checking airfares everyday, Gossip Girl has been a real bore lately.

But if you want an anime to watch, try Toradora. It's really cute.

Chuck and Blair

Crap. But what they said was right too.

And if it's not enough that I'm obsessed about GG, I've also gotten hooked on 90210.

Ah. The pleasure of non-reality, teenage drama and angst.

Erm. Please skip if you don't care two hoots about GG.

If you don't know what GG refers to, you probably belong to the "don't care two hoots" camp. Might want to skip this. Second chance. Last chance.

Like I sms-ed lawyer, the writers of GG have to be either the most vicious queen bees or the most severe victims in high school. This episode takes the cake for most imaginative plot twists.

I like Serena, but I discovered that I like her even more when she shed her Dan's doormat nature and turned to the dark side. Most classic moment has to be the withering look she gave Dan, that ass. You'd think he can't go any lower in that school. But it turns out there are worse things than being invisible.

I hope the evil side lasts at least a few episodes. I want to see Dan suffer cos I hate self-righteous morons and he has been the greatest self-righteous moron for like ever.

Erm. Okay. Juvenile rant over. Sorry, I get very wound up when I watch TV. Heh.

The heat is killing me. It keeps me in a constant bad mood and always craving for sweet or sweet, carbonated ice-cold drinks. And ice-cream. I fucking hate this hot, humid, scorching, sunny weather.

Watched Gossip Girl Ep 17. Seriously do not like Dan's hair. Shall not comment on the rest as I do not want to be spoiler-girl. Just, Georgina is so horrid. And Dan is pathetic. Oh and Nate suddenly has a personality? Lastly, black dress Lily wore at mock wedding dinner is marvellous.

Wore these to work today. Had lots of people exclaiming about the height. They did look scary because I stuck them under the table (yes, I changed into flats when I got to the office) with their backs facing out, so only the super high, skinny heel was visible.

And yes, they really are pretty easy to walk in, although calves get really tired after fast-walking in them. It was also amusing to note that there was a stronger inertia as compared to other shoes. Each time I wanted to start moving again from a stationary position, I'll sway very slightly before gathering the momentum to lift my foot.

Got my first paycheck. Earned more working three weeks here than a whole month back there. Most satisfying, at least for now. I'm getting that Graniph tee. Hope it'll already be in-store when I pop by tomorrow.

I really should stop rubbing my eyes, considering how afraid I am of wrinkles. But that squishy eyeball sound and the tremendous satisfaction you get from a good rub that quells the itch... So hard to give up.

Went to Liang Court Kino and who's sitting on the mag racks but Serena and Blair! Got the Blake Lively cover. This Gossip Girl craze is unstoppable. Also chanced upon So-En, and picked it up because I've read about it and seen it so many times on Fops and Dandies. Had a quick flip through and my god, it's marvellous. Perhaps also because it's a colour issue and there are lots and lots of saturated colours drenching the pages, whether in product shots or spreads. Super delicious.

Liang Court is in complete chaos. The whole place is under construction. None of the escalators work. Only one lift at each lobby is operating, ensuring long, long waits. I climbed the stairs to the third floor to get to Kino. That was how long it took.

I have ridiculous matching zits on both sides of the face. Temples, cheeks, jawlines. Yes, it's that time of the month. But still.
