Mum says they're lizard eggs

Completely fascinating but my scalp itches and my skin crawls at the thought as well.

Conversation we had after the discovery:

Me: Stupid mosquitoes keep biting me.
Her: Lizards are good, they'll help you eat them up.
Me: Well, they need to work harder.
Her: Pets take after their owners.
Me: I don't own them! I just let them run around!

There's been a lizard running around the house. Since they're so hard to catch and I'm not afraid of them, I can't be bothered about it. I just wish they'd pay a little more attention to where they shit.
