Wywy Wonderspace



The father used to bring us to arcades, I suppose because he didn't know where else to take us. I was frequently in and out of quite a few including the ones at Yangtze, Chinatown Point, Lucky Chinatown and this one in Clementi. I think there are a few more but I can't remember.

I would accumulate those tickets that can exchange for prizes like soft toys and play video games like Street Fighter even though I was no good at it (couldn't be bothered to learn the combinations, preferring to stab at buttons wildly).

yeah this one is closed. the entire building (i think it's empress) has been shut down - the cinema, kfc and the arcade.

not sure if there are other wywys around though...

there's supposed to be one at jurong west.. not sure if it's still there.. think the corporate office is at kent ridge, but i think can still find in malaysia or indonesia la..

btw... when you were young... how did you pronounce ryu? and guile? did u call them ra-yu and gu-li too?

actually i still think of them as that. some things just cannot be changed.
