that would really depend on what sort of picture format or effect you are looking for. 35mm, 120? vignettes? fisheye effect? super sharp or you like grainy, dreamy, etc.
the best thing would be to go on flickr and check out all the picts till you narrow down to the type of pictures you like most, and pick the camera from there.
for me, i was debating between holga 135bc and holga 120n in the beginning. but i went with the 135bc cos 35mm format film is something that's more familiar and i figured that it's cheaper per shot (factor in film and processing cost), so i won't feel so pinched abt taking lots and lots of random shots.
it gave me a lot a of fun, esp in initial days but the camera is not without its flaws. it's rather prone to underexposure so it's really best to use it in bright sunlight. i've ruined quite a few iso 100 films because of it.
now that i'm a little more used to this toy camera business, i want to eventually get a holga 120n.
so it's very subjective, and different ppl will tell you different things when you ask them which camera to get.

Hello,
Would like to check with you, what camera are you using to take all this pictures. I am interested in getting one.
Thanks!
hello, the pictures in this post are taken by olympus mju ii, the silver one in here: http://www.camerapedia.org/wiki/Olympus_Stylus_Epic_(mju)_I_&_II
Hi Meredith,
Thank you very much for your fast response.
Any ideas where i can get this camera? I am just a beginner! Hee hee
i think http://coldcameras.com/index.php has one.
you can also try this forum http://lomotion.20.forumer.com/index.php.
i saw someone selling the other day, may still be around. you'll need to sign up for an account to access the buy/sell pages.
not sure if you've already on lomotion, but that's one's of the places i read up on different cameras before i started on this picture taking frenzy.
the mju ii was actually a hand-me-down so it's the one camera i own i didn't set out to buy. that said, i love the cam cos it takes wonderful picts.
you can also check flickr for sample picts if you haven't already. there's a group dedicated to the mju ii.
hope this helps. let me know what cam you get eventually!
Hmm, i was thinking of getting something from 8storeysomething. Any to recommend from there?
