i didn't go too near this cat cos i thought it might scratch. it looked like it has had a hard life. its coat of fur was matted and dirty, and had the kind of yellow tint that you see on the pages of very old books. it looked at me very fiercely. not just wary, but fierce.

most stray cats still look relatively groomed because cats are clean freaks who spend a lot of time combing their hair and licking themselves clean. this may be the worst off cat i've seen.
